After Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe spoke to a crowd of supporters and volunteers in Springfield Sunday, the Ken Cuccinelli campaign issued a statement in response to McAuliffe’s comments on legislation and growing the economy in Virginia.
“Terry McAuliffe will do and say anything to get elected, including taking credit for legislation he had nothing to do with and launching false and negative attacks on Ken Cuccinelli,” read the statement. ”Ken continues to be the only candidate in this race running on substantive policy that will grow the economy, create jobs, and ease regulatory burdens on middle-class families.”
